Don’t get complacent: Manage your expectations even if you’ve had a few good weeks of your baby sleeping for longer periods, don’t assume this will last, unfortunately, it often doesn’t and there will be periods of disruption from time to time. A younger baby’s natural bedtime will be similar to the mother’s and he/she may stay awake for a longer period in the evening, perhaps wanting to feed almost constantly during this time. Have A Nap Schedule
When baby wakes during the night, do what you need to do to get him back to sleep as quickly as possible to help him and you get as much sleep as possible. After 4 months, your baby is becoming very aware of their surroundings and this includes when you want them to go to sleep.
